The New Entrepreneur Scholarship is for
anyone aged 18 upwards. You can be employed, unemployed
or a part time student with a viable business
idea residing in a deprived area of Hull. Upon
completing a full business support programme you
can go onto apply for upto £1500 funding
towards the cost of setting up a new business.

things to do. In Hull, you can apply for a small
or large youth opportunity fund - of £100-£500,
or £500-£2500. The
Youth Capital Fund is for places, equipment and

Skills Fund
The aim of the fund is to help raise the level
of skills of Hull’s workforce. If you're
an employer and are interested in the fund, you'll
need to pay about half the cost of the training.
Small/medium enterprises based in Hull (HU1 –
HU9) with a workforce of up to 500 employees or
Hull residents employed by small/medium enterprise
can apply for funding. There is a limit of £2,000
